    Designed not just with all-out racing in mind, the HB D812 is the ultimate driver's car, too. It's easy to work on and maintain, made from the highest-quality components and features smart design features that make tuning changes and general upkeep fast and smooth, with real results out on the track. With input from the world's fastest racers, the D812 is the perfect racing car for club drivers and sportsmen, too!

    The D812 has only the best features of the latest racing buggies - and includes parts and designs that HB's competitors are scrambling to replicate! From the solid, monocoque design suspension arms that are an identifying feature of D812 to the rubber-booted driveshafts front and rear, the car is loaded with race-oriented features that few other cars can match! Thick 7075-series aluminum forms the chassis, and fitted to this is a one-piece radio tray and one-piece lightweight engine mount for fast maintenance between race runs. The lightweight drivetrain is stopped by twin fiber disc brakes and twin bellcrank steering handles things at the front end.

    Suspension duties are taken care of by aluminum shock towers that feature milled-out areas to lower the overall center of gravity, while the stiff monocoque suspension arms and Big Bore 16mm shock absorbers soak up bumps while keeping all four tires on the ground for maximum forward momentum. An aerodynamic body and high-downforce rear wing top off the D812 for top-level performance, to take you to the top of the podium!

    PACKED WITH RACE-WINNING DETAILS

    The D812 is full of race tuning features that will get you to the front of the pack. The front end features billet aluminum CNC hubs and steering blocks. The hubs have hinge pin inserts for increased durability and easy geometry changes, and the steering blocks have large bearings for smoother running and extra toughness. The steering blocks are fitted with carbon fiber steering arms, which can be swapped for a range of option arms to adjust the Ackermann for pinpoint steering. Lightweight pillow balls are also used throughout the car to make the D812 more responsive than ever. Even the steering servo saver has a dust boot now to reduce maintenance requirements.

    The shock towers front and rear are machined from durable aluminum in the ideal suspension geometry, and long-stroke Big Bore 16mm shocks provide the perfect amount of suspension travel for improved grip in the corners. The shocks also feature shaft guards and boots for protection from impacts and more time between rebuilds. The arm mounts feature hinge pin inserts for increased durability and easy geometry changes. The rear hubs are also machined from billet aluminum and feature additional hinge pin inserts. Sway bars front and rear help cornering on high-speed tracks.

    The D812 uses lightweight aluminum shock towers front and rear, milled for a low center of gravity and featuring race-optimized shock mounting positions. The patented HB Big Bore shocks are fitted on all four corners and feature shock shaft covers to reduce wear and tear.

    The front end of the D812 features billet aluminum CNC hubs and steering blocks. Steering blocks have large bearings for smoother running and extra toughness. The steering blocks are fitted with carbon fiber steering arms, which can be swapped for a range of option arms to adjust the Ackermann for pinpoint steering. Lightweight pillow balls are also used throughout the car to make the car super-responsive for pinpoint precision on the track.

You can also tune the stiffness of the arms and suspension reaction by using the arm inserts provided in the kit.

    Aluminum rear uprights feature at the rear of the D812, just as with the front, with hinge pin inserts for extra tuning ability. The CVD axles feature rubber boots to extend the maintenance period and give you more useful life from each CVD set.

    The arm mounts feature hinge pin inserts for increased durability and easy geometry changes. The rear hubs are machined from billet aluminum and also feature hinge pin inserts. The kit includes a set of front & rear sway bars so you can dial in your D812 to all track conditions - extra sway bars are available for extra tuning ability.
